Jen Champlin

Jen Champlin is a maker; she doesn't like being restricted from working or focusing on one medium. She has an MFA in ceramics and is known for building an armature and taking her ceremonial wedding dress, cutting it in half, dipping it in ceramic slip, and then firing the piece titled Till Death Do Us Part. Vanitas-the brevity of life has been a constant undercurrent in her work for the past 25 years.
