#232-1B, Experience Ceramics with Jenny Champlin

#232-1B, Experience Ceramics with Jenny Champlin

January 12, Sat.
2:00 – 5:00 pm

Make a custom plate, bowl and mug

What we’ll do
We will make a bowl, plate, and mug or drinking vessel from scratch. I will teach you hand pressing and slab techniques. You will understand the stages of clay along with patterns and design will be discussed. You will be assisted throughout the whole process and encouraged. You can use my collection of over 200 handmade pattern stamps and letters to personalize your work or to add a favorite phrase.
We will be producing all three pieces in one sitting. The work won’t be ready to take home right away. I will fire it and glaze it your desired colors. All finished ceramic ware is oven safe, microwavable and dishwasher safe. The work will be ready for pick up in 21 days.

If you can’t pick up your work up and need it shipped, I will have a mailing label ready for you to fill out after class. We can calculate your works shipping rate that night using my computer and shipping estimator.

This engaging class is fun to do with a small group of friends, or on your own, as I will make sure you are comfortable and inspired. Each session is limited to 5 students.
