Join us for two days of painting in the studio where we will infuse our art with a renewed energy grounded in the dynamic interplay of color. This class promises to surprise and delight as we learn to trust our expressive instincts and strengthen confidence under Michael’s artistic leadership.  Oils or Acrylics are OK

What you will receive:
-Valuable One-on-one instruction. Michael tailors his teaching to meet you where you are
-Syllabus, materials that will include nearly everything covered in the workshop to help you remember the lessons learned and practice individually after the workshop
-Opportunities to help you loosen up so you can fearlessly and playfully “attack your canvas with the fervor of a swordsman.” (Michael says this with a big smile and his signature humor.)
-Tips and Tricks to put more energy into your paintings and add expression to your work-Enhanced artistic confidence to take new risks with color, shape, line and value

Workshop format:
-Saturday will consist of a lecture and demo. After lunch you will work from your choice of still life arrangements that Michael will provide, and receive personal instruction from him.
