Paint looser and bring more realism to your paintings at the same time during this workshop with Eugene oil painter Sarah Sedwick. End color confusion, and take a simpler approach to paint mixing and palette organization.

We will talk about technique, using resist/gutta, color application and blending, salt technique, setting the colors and all that good stuff in plenty of detail. You’ll paint a handkerchief to get used to the process, and then an 8 x 54 inch scarf.

Ages: 15 to adult (under 15 with a parent)
Maximum 6 students
All supplies included for the class.

A time for artists from the community to gather at Panera Bread to share artists’ interests. Books, articles, techniques, and news about upcoming art events. Whether you are an artist, collector, or someone who just appreciates fine art, you can help Sequoia by volunteering to help staff the gallery. Gallery staffers serve 4 hour shifts on the days of their choosing, depending on slots available. Volunteer applications are available online or at the gallery.
