These fun and popular artist-led events have been successfully building a community of painters since June of this year, and we want it to continue. To date Sequoia has hosted 5 painting parties, each one a sold out event. We have done a private "Paint Your Own Masterpiece" workshop attended by a work group who enjoyed Carolyn Petitt's Monet Water Lilly instruction so much that they scheduled a Paint Party for their own team bonding experience outside the office. Book your group of friends into a private party. Choose your own image to paint or let us choose for you!

Our September "Paint Your Own Pet" Party, is sold out, but you can still ask to be added to our waiting list. Better yet, you can sign up right away for our October Painting Party #6 to be led by Barbara Mason will feature the iconic and colorful Paul Klee "Cat" image. Please join us on Friday Oct. 20, 6:30-9 pm.

To sign up, stop by the gallery, call 503-693-0401 or visit the website. The registration is $30, includes all supplies and light snacks, plus wine and other beverages. All proceeds from these painting parties go 100% to support the Hillsboro Valley Art Association, the non-profit organization doing business as Sequoia Gallery and Studios.

We exist to bring the joy of art experiences to you and your family and friends. If there is an image or painting party idea you and your friends might enjoy, let us know, we are developing parties now for December (holiday themed), February and March. Demand for these events has been strong and we would like to respond to ideas for painting party images that the community would most enjoy.
