You may notice that our logo looks a little different this month. At the bottom of our usual Sequoia logo we have added a bit of jaunty ribbon to commerate the 10th anniversary of our existance as a homegrown non-profit art organization. We are pretty proud that we have managed, not only to survive, but to thrive over the past ten years. And thriving means being open to new ideas and embracing change. We will be celebrating in ways, little and big, all year, but we want you to be on the lookout for Sequoia to surprise you in the coming months.
Some surprises this month include not just one exhibtion, but two; in addition to our Featured Artist Show which debuts in the Gallery at our First Tuesday Reception, we will also have a pop up Life Drawing Show later in the month. The classroom is also looking fresh and clean with new storage shelves and freshly painted walls. And, don't forget, we begin our Paint Parties this soon. Summery Sunflowers is already full , but there is still space in Carolyn Pettitt's Waterlillies Workshop
We hope to see you on First Tuesday or anytime during our business hours all month long!
