Hello reader reader,
It’s August already! Summer officially ends on September 21st, but August always feels like the last summer blast before the start of Fall. Perhaps, before the rain starts again, you are planning a camping trip or a visit to the zoo or a hike in the mountains. Our beautiful state of Oregon can be enjoyed in so many ways. You might even glimpse some of the wildlife that wanders across our scenic andscape.

But if our wildlife eludes you, we offer an opportunity to view them closeup at the gallery this month. Sequoia artists, Leopoldine Brew and Jane Vanderzanden channel their love of wildlife into their artwork. Leo paints oil portraits of wild animals that are full of personality. Jane draws beautifully detailed scenes of wildlife on scratchboard. Similar subject matter, but two very different styles!

Come have a glass of wine or punch, have a nibble, while you meet our Featured Artists and visit our 13 studio artists at work on the First Tuesday in August.
