Jenny Wright Champlin makes small batch, individual, ceramic ware. She hand rolls the clay using her grandmother’s rolling pin and then presses the clay into a variety of vintage, Bavarian, cut-glass bowls, crystal, and other forms. At times she also uses old lace and fabric to add a layer of history. Jen also adds words, quotes, and phrases to some objects by using old film type. Jen offers custom stamping to make a truly unique, one of a kind, works of art.
Jen graduated from the University of North Dakota with a BFA in Ceramics, a secondary education degree, and an art history minor. She earned her MFA in Ceramics from Syracuse University. Jen has taught grades K-12, at the college level, and is currently teaching middle school art for Connections academy.
