Sheeja, a statistician turned artist, followed her passion for the visual arts to embark on a new creative journey. Despite pursuing a successful career in statistics, her love for art remained steadfast. Drawn by an irresistible urge to create, she took a leap of faith and embraced painting as her expressive medium. In 2018, Sheeja celebrated a significant milestone with her first solo exhibition at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishad Gallery in Bengaluru, India. The positive reception and encouragement from this exhibition fueled her determination to pursue her passion further. Upon relocating to the United States, Sheeja continued to share her creative vision with diverse audiences. She participated in exhibitions such as the Oregon Society of Artists Art Exhibition - 2022 and the Festival of Arts in Lake Oswego, Oregon - 2022, Art in the Park, Lake Oswego, Oregon -2023 showcasing her evolving artistic style. Engaging with fellow artists and the community has been an essential aspect of Sheeja's artistic journey. She found joy in participating in events like the La Strada dei Pastelli Chalk Art Festival and the thrilling Art Battle, where she challenged herself and discovered new depths of creativity.
