Royce’s paintings cover a wide variety of subjects, although she has a particular love of painting the natural world. She attempts to capture the personality of her animal subjects within each piece of artwork. Her love of color is immediately apparent in both her landscapes and her portraits. By infusing each painting with emotion, Royce is able to draw the viewer into the piece so they can relate to it.
